Featuring your supplied photograph(s) on the cover, they are very special gifts once quilted and beaded and with papers chosen with the recipient in mind. You could turn a photograph from your travels into the cover of your very own travelogue, celebrate a special occasion with a photo album, or choose an abstract design to hold your daily notes and scribbles. These journals are works of art in their own right--whether you record your travel adventures or capture your ideas and inspirations. Things to do with your journal include:
- Doodle while you talk on the phone--play with shapes, images, and colour;
- Use it as an idea or project book--sketches, ideas, photos, pictures from magazines;
- A Book of Everything--lists of things to do, books/movies/videos/plays you've enjoyed, ticket stubs, pamphlets, track your daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals;
- Photo albums--wedding, graduation, special places, pets and people, travel, memoirs.

I have also designed a pattern for making quilted journals. It guides you through the process of weaving and stamping fabric through to folding papers and sewing the journal all together.
